John Raitt

John Raitt (1917-2005) was an American singer and actor renowned for his powerful baritone voice and significant contributions to musical theatre. Primarily associated with the genres of musical theatre and traditional pop, Raitt gained fame for his performances in Broadway productions during the mid-20th century. Notable works include his leading roles in the original Broadway productions of "Oklahoma!" (1943), where he played Curly McLain, and "Carousel" (1945), portraying Billy Bigelow.
